We believe very strongly that this shared experience, acquired over several generations, allows us to achieve exceptionally high standards of work with the confidence to know what need not be done as well as that which is essential. However, we recognise that formal accreditation of skills and procedures is increasingly important to prospective clients and Caroe & Partners are pleased to adopt these third party standards as a measure of our competence.
RIBA Chartered Practice
Caroe & Partners is a member of the RIBA Chartered Practice scheme which ensures that all accredited members work to a common set of standards and have in place appropriate professional indemnity insurance, quality management systems and health and safety, employment and continuing professional development policies. Architects Accredited in Building Conservation
The AABC register is the longest established accreditation scheme for conservation architects who are assessed as to their individual knowledge and experience in conservation work by their peers in a team which also included a knowledgeable non-architect to ensure an element of public participation in the assessment process. Suitably qualified architects are entered in the register in one of two categories; A - Architect knowledgeable and experienced in the conservation of historic buildings, engaged in executive direction of projects of conservation work and CA - Architect currently acting in a consultant, educational or advisory capacity. We have seven architects in the A category of the register which illustrates the depth of expertise in this specialist field of building conservation. Further details may be found by contacting us.
Caroe & Partners recognise the importance of robust quality management in delivering effective services to our clients. Our practice procedures are based on ISO 9001 as set out in a 'toolkit' issued by the RIBA Chartered Practice scheme.
